An Act To Prohibit Flying over Land with Drones without Written Permission from the Landowner
Sec. 1. 17 MRSA 3861 is enacted to read:
3861. Trespass by unmanned aerial vehicle; civil violation
This bill makes operating an unmanned aerial vehicle over the land of another without written permission of the landowner a civil trespass punishable by a fine of not less than $500.
