An Act Concerning Antler Restrictions

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

Sec. 1. 12 MRSA 11405 is enacted to read:

11405. Restrictions on antler size; areas where antlerless deer permits are issued

In any wildlife management district where antlerless deer permits are issued, pursuant to section 11152, a person may not take an antlered deer with fewer than 3 antler points on one side.

SUMMARY

This bill prohibits a person from taking a buck with fewer than 3 antler points on one side in any wildlife management district where antlerless deer permits are issued.
