Description of rating: This rating evaluates bills according to whether they restrict the ability of pregnant women to obtain abortions in the state of Maine.. Cosponsorship by a legislator positively in Anonymous’s rating index for bills that restrict circumstances under which abortions may be obtained. Cosponsorship by a legislator counts negatively in the rating index for bills that expand or maintain circumstances under which abortions may be obtained.
